Our Story

EnableMe Uganda is a digital platform that provides people with disabilities in Uganda with access to up-to-date information and valuable resources on disability inclusion, economic empowerment, community, and services.

Our mission is to foster inclusivity and resilience among individuals with disabilities and other marginalized groups in Uganda. We aim to bridge the information gap and promote meaningful engagement on key issues affecting persons with disabilities through our online platform.

What We Offer

• Digital Accessibility: Our platform is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to people with all types of disabilities.

• Content: We offer a wealth of articles and resources on a variety of disability-related topics. Our content is continually updated and tailored to the specific needs of our Ugandan users.

• Community: Our platform provides a space for people with disabilities to connect with each other, share experiences, and seek advice. We also offer a forum for Disability Inclusion Facilitators to collaborate on initiatives that promote inclusion.

• Global Network: EnableMe Uganda is part of a wider network of EnableMe partners, which allows us to exchange knowledge and collaborate with organizations around the world.

Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring that the We Are Able Program succeeds in its mission to empower local and inclusive Disabled People's Organizations (DPOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). By offering accessible information and fostering connections, we aim to facilitate more significant ownership and advocacy efforts at all levels.
